100 Burning Hot slot at a glance
100 Burning Hot is EGT Digital's 2023 take on the classic fruit machine: five reels, four rows and 100 paylines that are always switched on. It is a newer build made for the Clover Chance jackpot system, so do not confuse it with the older game of the same name that Amusnet, then EGT Interactive, released in 2018.
The formula is simple. A four-leaf clover acts as the Wild and stretches over a whole reel, two different Scatters pay in any position, and a four-level progressive jackpot can open after any spin. There is no free-spins round, no multiplier ladder and no bonus purchase.
My take: this is a slot for players who like steady, readable sessions more than long droughts broken by one huge hit. The return sits a little under the modern average, which is the price of the jackpot pool. I think that trade is fair as long as you know about it before you start.
How to play 100 Burning Hot: 100 fixed paylines
A win needs three to five matching symbols on one payline, running left to right on adjacent reels and starting from the first reel. The red 7 is the single exception and already pays for two. Wins on different lines are added together.
The lines cannot be switched off. Every spin plays all 100 of them, so the only thing you set is the total bet. The line maps below come from the game's own help screens: straight rows first, then zigzags, V shapes and diagonals.
Nothing cascades and nothing respins. Symbols land once, the game pays and the round is over. In the screenshot below, a clover on the middle reel completes line 10 with three lemons.
Expanding Wild: the clover on reels 2, 3 and 4
The four-leaf clover is the only Wild. It lands on reels 2, 3 and 4, never on the first or the fifth, and it replaces every regular symbol. It does not stand in for the dollar or the star.
When a clover lands, it grows to cover all four positions on its reel. That is the difference from a stacked Wild, which only fills the positions it happens to stop on. A full Wild reel touches every one of the 100 lines at once.
| Clover reels | What happens | My read |
|---|---|---|
| One reel | One full Wild reel links the symbols on both sides | The usual case: a handful of small line wins |
| Two reels | Two Wild reels, side by side or with a gap | Many lines complete with the same symbol at once |
| Three reels (2, 3 and 4) | The whole middle of the grid is Wild | The best base-game setup: reels 1 and 5 decide the payout |
Clover Chance jackpot: four progressive levels
Clover Chance is a mystery jackpot with four progressive levels: Mini, Minor, Major and Grand. The amounts shown above the reels grow as bets are placed, and they differ from one operator to another.
The round can start after any base-game spin, winning or not. It never starts during the gamble. You then see twelve face-down cards and turn them over one at a time until three of the same suit appear. That suit decides the level.
| Suit | Level | Tier |
|---|---|---|
| Clubs | Mini | Lowest |
| Diamonds | Minor | Second |
| Hearts | Major | Third |
| Spades | Grand | Highest |
The trigger is random and no skill is involved. Once the round opens, a jackpot is certain, and the cards only reveal which one. It is paid on top of any line win from the triggering spin. The provider publishes no trigger frequency, so I treat the jackpot as an extra and not as a plan.
Two scatter symbols: dollar and star
Both Scatters pay wherever they land, with no payline involved, and both pay in multiples of the total bet. Neither opens a feature. That surprises players who expect a Scatter to start a bonus round, so it is worth saying plainly: here a Scatter is simply a well-paid symbol.
| Scatter | Reels | 3 symbols | 4 symbols | 5 symbols |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dollar | All five | 3x | 20x | 100x |
| Star | 1, 3 and 5 only | 20x | Not possible | Not possible |
The star can only appear on three reels, so three stars is the most you will ever see. Five dollars is the highest payout a single symbol can bring in this game.
100 Burning Hot paytable
The table shows line payouts for a total bet of 1.00. I worked it out from the in-game paytable at a 250.00 bet, where five 7s pay 7,500.00. The Scatters are covered in the section above.
| Symbol | 5 on a line | 4 on a line | 3 on a line | 2 on a line |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Red 7 | 30.00 | 2.00 | 0.50 | 0.10 |
| Grapes | 5.00 | 1.00 | 0.40 | – |
| Watermelon | 5.00 | 1.00 | 0.40 | – |
| Bell | 2.00 | 0.50 | 0.20 | – |
| Plum | 1.00 | 0.30 | 0.10 | – |
| Orange | 1.00 | 0.30 | 0.10 | – |
| Lemon | 1.00 | 0.30 | 0.10 | – |
| Cherry | 1.00 | 0.30 | 0.10 | – |
Two things stand out. The 7 is far ahead of everything else, and three of a kind returns less than the stake. Grapes and watermelon sit above the bell here, which is unusual for a fruit slot. Most winning spins are small, and the bigger results come from several lines paying together through an expanded clover.
Bonus features, bonus buy and gamble
The feature list is short, and that is deliberate.
| Feature | Trigger | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Expanding Wild | Clover on reel 2, 3 or 4 | The whole reel turns Wild |
| Clover Chance jackpot | Random, after a base-game spin | Pick cards until three suits match and win that level |
| Dollar Scatter | Three to five in any position | 3x, 20x or 100x the total bet |
| Star Scatter | Three on reels 1, 3 and 5 | 20x the total bet |
| Gamble | Optional, after a win | Red or black: the win doubles or is lost |
| Free-spins round | Not in the game | – |
| Bonus buy | Not in the game | – |
There is no bonus buy and no ante bet. I do not miss them: the jackpot round needs no purchase, and the base game is busy enough without a paid shortcut.
The gamble is a plain red-or-black card guess. A right call doubles the win, a wrong one takes it away, and the number of attempts in a row is limited. It adds variance and nothing else, so I skip it on any win I would be sorry to lose.
100 Burning Hot RTP and volatility
The stated return is a long-run theoretical average over a very large number of spins. It says nothing about one evening: a session can end well above it or far below it.
| Measure | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Stated RTP | 95.89% | As listed for the game |
| House edge | 4.11% | The share kept over the long run |
| Common range for modern slots | 96.0%–96.5% | This game sits slightly below it |
| Other RTP versions | None found | Check the game info anyway |
Part of every bet feeds the progressive pool, which explains the lower base figure. I found no reports of alternative RTP versions for this title, but operators control their own settings, so open the info screen and read the number before you play.
Volatility is low to medium. In practice that means frequent small and mid-sized line wins and few very long losing runs. It does not mean losses are small: a low-volatility slot still takes its edge over time.
100 Burning Hot demo and bankroll planning
The demo at the top of this page is free and needs no registration. It runs on play credits, so it is the right place to learn the pace of the game.
Three things are worth watching over 200 to 300 demo spins: how often a clover expands, what a typical line win looks like next to your stake, and how the balance moves between the better hits.
For paid sessions I budget in bets, not in money. A buffer of 100 to 150 bets gives a low-to-medium volatility game room to behave normally.
| Bet per spin | Buffer |
|---|---|
| 0.20 | 20–30 |
| 1.00 | 100–150 |
| 5.00 | 500–750 |
Set the budget before the first spin and stop when it is gone. The jackpot is random, and a bigger bankroll does not bring it closer.
100 Burning Hot on mobile
The game is an HTML5 build that runs in the browser on phones and tablets, with no app to install. The 5x4 grid stays readable in portrait and in landscape.
The screenshot shows the portrait layout. The four jackpot counters move above the reels, and the spin, autoplay and bet buttons sit under them within thumb reach. Expanded clovers and line wins stay easy to follow on a small screen.
100 Burning Hot vs 100 Super Hot and 100 Power Hot
All three games use the same 5x4 grid with 100 fixed lines, so the differences are in the Wild, the Scatters and the ceiling.
| Parameter | 100 Burning Hot | 100 Super Hot | 100 Power Hot |
|---|---|---|---|
| Provider | EGT Digital | EGT Digital | Amusnet |
| RTP | 95.89% | 95.76% | 96.45% |
| Volatility | Low to medium | Low | Low |
| Max win | 3,000x | 1,000x | 50,000x |
| Wild | Expanding clover | Stacked 7s | Stacked 7s |
| Scatters | 2 | 1 | 1 |
| Jackpot | Clover Chance | Clover Chance | Jackpot Cards |
100 Burning Hot is the one to pick if the expanding clover is what you enjoy. 100 Super Hot is calmer and caps lower. 100 Power Hot lists a higher return and a much higher cap. The figures for the other two titles come from their published specifications and can differ by operator and jurisdiction.
100 Burning Hot pros and cons

What I do not like
- The return is below the modern average
- No free-spins round and no multipliers

- The win cap is modest next to 100 Power Hot
- Lines cannot be reduced to lower the cost of a spin

100 Burning Hot FAQ
What is the maximum win in 100 Burning Hot?
3,000x the total bet, not counting the progressive jackpots. It takes expanded clover reels combined with high-paying symbols across many lines.
Does 100 Burning Hot have a free-spins round?
No. The extras are the Expanding Wild, two Scatters, the gamble and the Clover Chance jackpot.
How does the Clover Chance jackpot work?
It can start at random after any base-game spin. You turn over cards from a set of twelve until three share a suit: clubs pay Mini, diamonds Minor, hearts Major and spades Grand.
Is the 95.89% RTP the same everywhere?
I found no other RTP versions of this game, but operators control their own settings. Check the figure in the game info before you play.
Can I play 100 Burning Hot on my phone?
Yes. It is an HTML5 game that runs in a mobile browser in portrait or landscape, with no download.
Which symbol is the Wild?
The four-leaf clover. It appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 only and expands to cover the whole reel. It does not replace the Scatters.
What is the difference between the dollar and the star Scatter?
The dollar lands on all reels and pays 3x, 20x or 100x the total bet for three, four or five. The star lands on reels 1, 3 and 5 only, so three stars for 20x is its only payout.
Can I switch off some paylines?
No. All 100 lines are fixed. You change the cost of a spin through the total bet only.
